That pretty much says it all. i went on Wikipedia and the official sites but they weren't that helpful. iv'e a growing interest in games (mainly hurling) outside Ireland and i'm just curious about it, i guess.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. :)

In America the winners of the championships in Boston, NY, Chigago and San Fran play off over a weekend. That is the extent of it as far as I'm aware.

In North American you have a thing called the North America County Board (NACB)

It is made up a number of divisions, North East (Boston), Philadelphia, Chicago etc.

New York is not part of the North American County Board, they are a separate entity.

The North American Championships, run by the NACB, take place first weekend in Sept every year, Labour Day weekend in the US.
