So i was going to make a poll asking what everyone thought was their favourite past TV tron and realised there was a hell of a lot so apart from the ones below what other ones are there?

Has to be the smackdown loop, had the toy as a kid haha, The smackdown first was cool too.

Has to be the Smackdown fist, followed by the loop. The one they have now is pretty crap.

Always Thought It Was AWESOME! I Found a titan tron live RAW IS WAR Set at a Carr boot sale a couple of years ago!

Same with the lighting, I recently watched smackdown and the arena is too birght or something, theres something about a slightly dim fuzzy video quality that makes wrestling special.

The giant Raw is War ones. Definitely the best.

Am I the only one who never liked the Smackdown Fist one? Much preferred the Loops.

All time favourite has to be the 2000's Raw is War set. Simple, but just looked awesome.

Ok here's a rundaown of all the Raw sets over the years:

1993:


1993 - 1995:


1995-1997:


1997-2002: (there was a fair few variations of these, Red banner lighting to the side, the screens to the side and then the one with the wwf.com under the screen.


2002-2005:


2005-2008:


2008-now:




Seeing them all laid out like that, the newest one is the worst!

Always liked the 1999-2002 RAW set.

I remember reading that the HD set was developed after they tested the previous sets in HD and they looked atrocious.

In fairness though, the RAW set circa 2007 was a massive mish mash.

I just noticed that one screen is bigger than the other on the smackdown fist set. :eek:

that was an after effect of the invasion as the left hand screen displayed WWF or WCW/ECW depending on which superstar came out (except for the main event guys like Austin, Angle and The Rock who had their minitron displayed)

They had an article about the Raw sets on WWE.com last week. They teased a new set possibly been introduced on the night of the 1,000 episode.

I love the intimacy of this stage. WWE should definitely do their Raw 20th Anniversary show in the Manhattan Center Grand Ballroom next year (actually it's in 7 months today) and try to book as many guys as possible who were on the very first show, especially The Steiner Brothers and Razor Ramon, and a (5 minute) re-match between the main event that night; The Undertaker vs Damien Demento.

That's where I got the pics and years from.
I don't think we'll see a new set. We might, but don't think we will.

Something I think we will all agree on is it's time for nickelback to be replaced.
