Was anybody watching this game tonight? I thought overall it was very badly structured apart from other years.

The big differences is that there is no shuffle game this year where you win prizes of a car, double your money or cash prizes of €10k up to €12k.

There is a Jazzed up in money terms of Joker's Wild were you win a maximum prize of around €30,000. But no holidays are won on it.

The safe cracker has gone to hell too as it is the final game in this year's version. I don't really like the new format in where you have to win the 3rd key out of 3 keys in order to win the jackpot.

The final big money is also the same as in other years.

All in all, It is just totally confusing and appalling.

Because the amadáns at Montrose and at National Lottery HQ have obviously decided "Well, Winning Streak works well with Marty and Geri, so there's no reason why the Big Money Game shouldn't work with two presenters as well."

And of course, it has to be two young peoples' presenters...

Who is the Sinead girl? I've never seen her on anything before.

Personally speaking, the show could be done far better if they just used a random number generator with numbers between 1000 and 250,000 and did the show like this...

    - "Our next contestant is Joe. Hi Joe".
    - "Hi Young presenter".
    - "OK, lets run the RNG and.... yes, you've won €55,000! Thanks for coming on Joe".
    - "Thanks!"

They could run that for five minutes after the news!

    Sinead Kennedy.

She's turned up on all sorts of young peoples' shows for nearly ten years - most recently the awful Two Tube. ;)

    Noswaith dda!

Is it me or does Brian look very waxworky?

Sinead's silvery hair look doesn't suit her at all. Even Brian's clothes look the same nearly every week. It be would nice he changed his look every week or so.

As brought up in another thread, some trivia/general knowledge questions would be welcome.

Its a disgrace that this show needs two presenters when Mooney and Murphy did it for years on there own. Marty and Geri at least have some chemistry but Sinead is too loud and has that RTE childrens presenter affliction that Geri use to have of speaking to every guest as if they were 5 and Brian just shows his perfect teeth whilst doing a close impression of "Nice but Dim". And who edited this weeks show? Half way through when they are pulling names out of the drum for the New York Trip, Sinead messes up and asks to do it again, cue link gets cut and the tape loops back again to show the scene without a mistake.

I heard something that a total of six players are being drawn for the trip to NYC next week as it is the final programme.

The new season of Winning Streak is being broadcast on September 1st.

Did anyone see them in the shops during the week or during the last big money game?

There is a interesting mix of colour in them for this year (namely black, green and purple). They are better than last year's design IMO.
