Hi all, I was just wondering is anyone in the 7 year medicine course? I can't find much more information about it other than what's in the prospectus and website, and wanted to know a bit more about it? Like is the phd part done throughout or in the last year? What exactly is the phd in?

It seems like an excellent advantage to have a phd as well as the normal qualifications in only an extra year or two. If anyone has any info it'd be much appreciated!

From the website its only (maybe) starting next year so you're not going to find anyone doing it

The Intercalated Degree has been running for years- this is where you do a year of science (equivalent to 4th year science) between 2MB and 3MB and thus get a BSc along with MB BCh BAO

Haha completely forgot 2012 year hasn't even started yet, keep thinking it's this time next year for some reason...

Thanks anyway, might look into that :)
