Samsung Galaxy - Navigation Problem

    Need help please!!!

    I have a Samsung Galaxy 1.
    When I use the Google Navigation app. as a SatNav, sometimes it works particularly if the location is within a couple of miles,
    but more often than not, with other popular locations - the screen freezes and crashes the phone.
    I then have to open the phone take out the battery and reboot the phone
    .........so bleedin fraustrating!!

    any ideas??

    I wa having problem with Nav freezing too, i cleared the cache on the app and it never happened again, give it a try and let us know how it goes

    Have you flashed a custom rom or any modifications to the phone?

    I have issues with GPS failing after a couple minutes and not locking on again without a restart and an arbitrary time.

    I dont use gps that often that it's a problem but it would be nice to be able to rely on it when I need it!

    problem has surfaced again!
    ...if Navagation App has to search for a location outside immediate area, eg. 20 km away - the screen stays black with just the 'Google Maps Navigation' icon displayed,,then it crashes the phone.

    I then have to take the battery out and reboot the bleedin' thing!!

    I have tried clearing the cache, but the problem persists!!
