    Boil water notice issued in Limerick over contamination fears

    A boil water notice has been issued by Limerick Co Council over fears that water in some areas may be contaminated.

    Health Service Executive suggests that all water should be boiled before drinking or cooking.
    The notice has been circulated as there are fears that the heavy rainfall may have contaminated the water supply in the county this week.
    Limerick County Council issued the warning following consultations with the Health Service Executive requiring that all water should be boiled before drinking or cooking.
