Seat Belt for driver on old bus

    Hi everyone,
I have recently purchased a 94 double decker bus. It will not be carrying passengers as the only one on it will be the driver ( its a party bus). My query is whether I need to get it fitted for a seatbelt as there is no seat belt fittings on it. There is no anchorage even.
I know the law states that you must wear a belt if there is one fitted but what is the law regarding retro fitting older buses that never had a seat belt?

I dont think you can strap one to the old Chapman style seats. You may need an new seat that wont fit the cab area. All former Db buses around here have remained the same.
    What have you purchased? Model/reg?

Excuse the ignorance OP; you say that it's a party bus it will it not be carrying passengers? How does that work?

I'd imagine the bus will be stationary while the party takes place, so no seatbelts required. :-)

as far as i know (and i could be totally wrong) if the vehicle never had a seat belt or seat belts you don't have to have them. some vintage cars for example wouldn't have had seat belts if their old enough.

I'm very highly educated. I know words, i have the best words, nobody has better words then me.
