Redundancy payment question

hi ,i was made redundant and my boss could not pay my redundancy,i filled in an rp50 form and it was sent off 2 months ago,i am just wondering the usual length of time it takes to receive payment and in what form it comes in?i.e cheque,postel order,through my bank account??tanx
