Labour TD's - Facebook De-Activted

    I just noticed 2 labour TD's on my Facebook page are now showing de-activated. The pair of them were both posting about a new cycle lane in Drogheda earlier today (Thursday 7th of June). I wonder have all the Labour TD's been told to de-activate Facebook accounts....and possibly twitter as well.

    <edit>
    Looks like they had 'personal' and 'fan' pages. The fan pages are there, personal ones are de-activated
    </edit :-)>

    Makes more sense to have Pages rather than profiles.

    You can only have 5,000 friends as a Profile - probably less than the quota in their constituency! :)

    It's a move for the better in fairness. Far easier to manage a page than a profile for these purposes

    Far more likely that a constituent will 'like' a page than will 'friend' a person. They may well have cut people who aren't personal friends off their personal page.
