Two weeks ago I booked a holiday for my son with Ryanair using my 3v card and we received the booking confirmation email etc. Today I received an email from them saying that the booking was unsuccessful and I wasnt charged. Except I was and now I cant get through to their customer services( lines are closed) but the seats are nearly all but gone. Has this happened to anyone before?

try it from the other side, contact the credit card company and provide them with the evidence that the service which was "paid" for wasnt supplied but was charged for.

Did you receive a booking confirmation email? If you log into you 3v account you should be able to see whether your card was charged or not.

Yes I checked the 3V account and it was charged. Got the booking email when I booked it but the email I recieved yesterday had a different reference number to the one when I first booked it so Im assuming that its fine now because when I checked last night the online intinery option with the first refernce number everything was fine so I dont know what yesterdays email was about

I booked flights for three people about two weeks ago also (the day after their website was back working after it had been upgraded). I went through the process and I got a confirmation email, but on the email it said my flights cost 0.00e and it didn't have any flight details, I had a confirmation number. I thought it was unusual so rang the customer service line, took me about 6 attempts to get through to them. He said the confirmation number did not match any booking and that I was not charged. I rebooked flights. Yesterday I got an email about the original booking saying that it was urgent that I read it and that the booking did not exist. Go into the manage my booking section on the website and you can check your flight details and check if it exists. Contact the customer service line and your credit card company.
