Court services is your best bet. It's public record.

If you got a summons and have it to hand, you can ring the District Court office with the case number and ask for it's current status. If there was a decision and a fine handed down, you will get a letter outlining the decision and telling you how to pay.

If you're not a party to the case and don't have a reference number, it's probably not so straightforward. The court staff wouldn't be too pleased or likely to spend much time on your query if you called with only a vague description of the case.
