I would (and Roche's too!) if I thought I'd be getting to read the truth but I don't think I'll bother!

More about what is left out, than included (Roche's too....... ;))

Thems the risks you take with an AUTObiography.

So, would you? Should you? Could you? Or is Riis too much of an outcast for you?

aye, read it last week. meh, some enjoyable parts but too much of Riis coming up with inventive reasons for such memorable moments as ripping up Hautacaum like a lunatic - small chainring...FFS

    loved Riishomon btw

Sometimes the gaps are more important. If a person is bull****tng about things you know about imagine what they're doing with things you don't.

You mean the little chainring isn't the truth, wasn't the real reason he was able to gallop up that hill on his pretty little Pinarello? But ... but ... but ...

What about the acupuncture then? Can I believe in the acupuncture? Pretty please? I soooo want to believe.

Glad you enjoyed Riishomon. Was fun to revisit that Tour in such detail.

+1 on Riishomon - it was a gripping read and a superb idea to drip feed the articles over a few days, given the amount of information in them. Well done on a really great job

If ever there's a rider who's story deserved to be told by Kurosawa, Riis is him.
