    Hi all,
Today around 8 - 10 t I was watching a tv show on my pc, I use a software to track download bit so I dont go over the limit and within a space of 2 hours I massed up to 17GB which makes no sense or what so ever.

3 days a go it took 6hrs to download 1.6gb of an app, but i can watch 80min of a tv show and its 17gb in 2hrs, it makes no sense at all.

If it was full HD (1080p or even 720p) I could well imagine the download being 17gb. People tend to forget steaming is also the same as downloading, and will eat up the same amount of bandwidth as the download option (just you watch as it downloads).
The speed it takes to download depends on the server, the app may have been hosted on a overloaded or far away server, which would mean a slower download speed, sometimes significantly than what your connection can provide

The quality was crap not even close to HD, although it was slow in playing so maybe over loaded. I just checked the software networx and I used 17GB in an hour. The vidz site was gorriavid.com.

    This is strange.

If it was not HD then that does sound very excessive, who is your internet provider. I'm guessing your monitoring software may be the issue here.

My ISP is Vodafone. Hopefully its because I've already passed the download limit at this stage and its not even half the month yet.

Just going through my average data usage its 18.4Gb per month and I usually watch the same tv shows with the exception of some downloads this few days.

On my 50meg I'd be lucky to get 17gig in a hour (quite possible with a stable connection to server), so a vodafone connection I couldn't see pulling down anywhere near 17gig (if its around 8-12meg~)
