I need to buy a dictaphone to do some interviews for a college research project. I was told I should try get one that can connect to PC but they seem a bit dear.

Anyone have any advice? Its only something I'll use for a few weeks so the cheaper the better.

Do you have to use one of these? Surely your phone or the sound recorder on a laptop is a much more convenient option.
