Looking for 12mile route in Galway

I am staying in the Connemara coast hotel tomorrow night but need to get a 10-12mile run in for my marathon training (Waterford in 3 weeks). From memory the roads around there are pretty narrow and not sure of the extent of footpaths. Just wondering if anyone knows any pedestrian friendly routes I could take in the area?
