    Any1 know whats the difference with the a4 144c02 and 139c02?

    apart from rd tax

    Fairly minor tweaks to the engine to lower the CO2. Don't think the 139g version has stop/start.

    144g seems to be the model year 2008 version. The product guide I have for the 2009 model has emissions listed at 139g for all the 143ps diesel models.

    The earlier models had the first of the CR engines that have the shorter hex shaft in the oil pump thats prone to failure. I would be aiming for the newer engine if I was you..

    so is the 139 the newer one?


    i thought all the 2009 a4s with 139 had stop/start but it seem to be only mostly 2010

    The 139 is better because it has the newer engine which has no faults also the tax is a bit cheaper. Its also a quieter engine..
