Thanks for putting this up. Is there any sponsorship requirements or is it anything you can raise?

    Thanks

An excellent cause and a nice route as well. If I'm not working, I'll be there.

A great, friendy cycle brought to you by Slaney CC who also run the Mount Leinster Challenge!

This one brings you over the mountain from the Kiltealy side (the side you descend from on the MLC). This is a long slog of a climb with a steep centre section. Gradient not as tough as Corrobutt Gap but extra length makes it hard.

Also a short steep little b****x of a climb over Sliabh Buí at about 90km which is a killer before a downhill run to the finish. Great local support last year.

May well consider this especially for St.Lukes.

I do not train, but just ride me bike on day-to-day basis, as usual ;).

Anyway, can anybody recommend this event?

I was talking to one of the guys involved and they had about 125 last year so hoping for about 200 tomorrow. 250 goodie bags made up I believe!

Should be a good ride. Very misty and foggy going over Mount Leinster last year but tomorrow shoud be lovely.

Yes, it was a great day, great Event and all done for the right cause, which is the main thing ;).

I would like to say Thank you very much to the Organisers and all Volunteers including Jacinta, who transported the fallen bits of my bike into the finish line. Very much appreciated :).

All aspects of the Event were very well carried out through the day. I could not believe the amount and quality of food at the GAA as well as in the Pub after the Event. The shower facility was a great help as well I have to say.

All in all a lovely day. Thank you all!
