Thinking of going the corny keg route. Can one use a diving cylinder for the co2?
Will prob need to change the valve on the cylinder.

Cheapest and most used thing is a fire extinguisher...Isn't a diving cylinder not designed to use compressed air??

I thought any cylinder that can take pressure can be used.I have a spare 12L cylinder. You can put any type of gas in a diving cylinder, but can not use it after that for diving unless you got it cleaned by a test center.

It could be used to hold Co2 but the req and fittings could be different sizes...You may also have bother getting it filled with Co2...couldnt see alot of people willing to fill something designed for compress air filling it with Co2

We have second hand 2kg and 5kg C02 extinguisher bottles, and we may be able to fill them with differing regulator heads. May be of some use to you.

PM me for details as I dont think I can post ads on here.

You can always sell your wears at beoir.org in the market section, guys are always looking for CO2 bottles and refills.

    Where are you based?

I spend a few hours last week looking for co2 for a cylinder I had, I tried air products and BOC, both of them told me it was illegal to have a Cylinder and it was probabaly their cylinder and I should return it as I had stolen it!!!!!

Lucky I read some threads on Beoir and contacted a local Fire Safety place (meath), €40.00 to fill my 6.5l cylinder I think its about 100 for a full 5l cylinder and you own it. PM me if you details of try a local fire safety place
