irish studies

    being realistic , could i do irish studies in first year and move/switch courses into a simillar field of study

    Depends. I don't think there's any course similar enough that you could transfer into 2nd year of another course. If you intend transferring into first year of another course then you must have gotten the required leaving cert points for that course.
