Hey, got littlel annoying problem here :D
    I have opel corsa C 2001 5-door.
Well when getting into car I keep hitting my left knee against left of steering wheel and when getting out, now 3 days since I started driving it I literally have big blue painful spot on left knee. So far my best way to avoid this is pulling seat back every time then pull myself up again, this works but not much really still get to hit against. Is there any way to adjust steering wheel height?

There should be a lever under the steering column. Pull it out and you can adjust the height of the steering wheel.

Buy an older 95-97 Jag xj6. The steering wheel retracts and the drivers seat slides back when you remove the key from the ignition. They return to their pre set position again when you replace the ignition key, provided of course the seats have memory. very handy and a wee bit cool!

sounds to me you may be positioning the seat too far forwrd. your arms should only be slightly bent when your seat is correctly positioned.

I see lots of people driving practically touching the wqindscreen and I think this is dangerous in this era of airbags.

Firstly, what height are you? Try having the seat back a bit more if you are right up against the wheel.

Also, when getting in, imagine you are wearing a tight skirt, sit down and swivel your legs into the car, both legs together,

If you park facing up hill, park the other way round, facing down hill, that will help too.

It's just a matter of getting used to it.
The hood for the extractor fan for my cooker protrudes a bit too much and is made from some quite sturdy beams of wood.
I was forever whacking my head of it, followed by some obscene language from me.
After a while I learnt to move around it, haven't whacked my head of it in years.
You'll get the hang of it.

Forgot to add "in old money";)

In any case not too tall for a Corsa

And pretty much bang on average.

I would suggest that if you are banging your knees off the steering wheel then it is adjusted too low. Find the adjuster level and set it higher.
