bought a new set of irons and a driver in caesars a few years back - the shop is gone now - i think it was called st andrews

had no problem bringing them back, you will just check them in with your suitcase - i did buy a golf bag flight case for them (i needed one and it looked more like i was travelling with the clubs anyway) it wont set you back much more - you may get stuck with a baggage charge now - but breakage/loss wise just get travel insurance to cover it - keep the receipts obv - and picture the items too

when i got my clubs i treated myself to a lot of stuff in the shop and was haggling over prices/getting them to throw in stuff but finally the shop assistant said he would treat the sale as one where they were going to ship the items to me so they wouldnt be subject to nevada sales tax - so an 8% saving there too - make sure to ask

You might also bump into a customs official when you arrive home, the import duty and VAT might put you off bringing clubs back, I would check how much it would cost before you go.......just in cae you get stopped.

Op there are lots of golf shops in Vegas so there is no problem finding clubs. Are you bringing any clubs with you or just buying a set out there?. There is a brilliant Callaway driving range/par 3 course/ shop at the end of the strip near McCarron airport, bring your new clubs down there and hit a few balls to make clubs look used.

Op unless you are going the aerlingus route which takes almost 24hrs, you will probably be flying to heathrow then direct to LV. You may have to factor in carriage of clubs on two airlines on the way back which will probably add an additional €100 to the cost.

Don't play golf in Vegas in July, only Canadians play then, it's 40degrees plus in searing sun in the desert.

Yeah flying to London first then to LV,,,think I'd be better off just buying here so looks like I won't be Savin much in the long run,,,
