    hi guys.
im just hoping to get a bit of advice here.im a 24 y/o male currently unemployed.i have been unemployed for a while now and it is starting to get stressful and depressing.
its not as if i am not looking i am sending off a lot of online applications and cvs but still not getting anywhere.
my problem is i have not got the relevent exp most places are looking for.

since i have left school six years ago i have held many positions but due to the lack of work i have been let go from every position before i got to move up the ladder and get a certificate to show i have exp in any position i go for.

when i finished my leaving certificate i became a mechanic apprentace before a year ended i got let go

i then became an apprentace electrician.just after a year i got let go.

i then became an apprentace plumber, the same story again.

then comes to my most recent job,an auto electrician, once again i got let go.

in between these positions i have worked in tk maxx, argos,a cafe and mc donnalds.

i have plenty of exp in customer service and as my father is a mechanic i have a vast exp in this field.
the only problem is i have no certificates to say i am experienced in any of these fields,i do have good references and i am a very fast learner but i am never given a chance to prove this as my cv doesnt show any qualifications.

can someone out there please give me some advice on how to go about applying for jobs without having experience, this is really getting depressing and frustrating.i am a fit 24 y/o irish male raring to get a job and start building a career for myself.

thanks in advance for any replies

I suggest you train in the UK as an Adult nurse or Mental health nurse:

Advantages : Secure employment once you are qualified; you can work all over the world and you are doing a worthwhile job.

    Training bursary/grant available in UK.

Since you're at the stage where you consider it 'stressful and depressing', would you consider an internship under the JobBridge scheme?

Approach a company you'd like to work for and ask them if they'd be willing to take you on as an intern under the JobBridge scheme.

are you a physically fit person.

if so i may be able to help. not in a gay way now or anything mind you, i specialise in sending people to work in Norway and currently have a few jobs on at the moment. might be worth a thought.
