Digital tv modulator?

Hey guys, just wondering if any of you guys know where I can buy a cheap modulator to stick in the back of my old tv's, basically I have a tv in the playroom that already has a fta box and dvd player connected, I don't want to add another box. I seen one advertised about 6 months ago for 45 but thought that was a bit dear considering the price of boxs.

Can you post a link to an example of the kind of device you mean?

A digital modulator is an expensive, specialist piece of kit & a UHF analogue modulator requires an existing digital decoder to feed it a signal.

Maplin sell them, But that's not a Digital Modulator its an Analog Device.


What you actually asked for would be a lot more expensive. ie 1000's of € :eek:.

Do you have already have a digital receiver suitably located to feed a signal to the modulator? What about a distribution system & magic eyes for changing channel?

You wouldn't be long spending the price of another box, if it's only to feed 1 tv it probably doesn't make much sense.
