    looking to add a double acting spool valve to the DB to use a hydraulic toplink log splitter etc. Anyone have one of these added? How do i plumb it in to the tractor hydraulics. any pictures etc

    Just connect to the trailer tipper quick-release. There's a return then on the right hand side, next to where you connect the top-link. There is on our DB995 anyway. You will need a 3 position valve with P to T at centre.

    Check the flow rate of the tractor pump so that the valve can handle it?
    If you tell me which David Brown it is, I can check it for ya. Have the book here.

    To run the Log splitter then just put the selector to 'External' and select the tipper on the divert valve. Because the added valve is Pressure to Tank when not used, the oil will ust flow through it and not create back pressure. The relief valve in the tractor then won't come on. Very important !!!!
