Based on smoothed earning ratios Europe is dirt cheap. IShare Euro value etf circa dividend yield 5.5%, Euro stoxx 50 4.2%.
Generational buying opportunity if the euro survives.

From these sort of valuations you easily get 10% + longterm compound returns. Is it time to be brave?

Good info. Good link. Well done. The entry price of good stock is very significant in the long run.

So specifically, what stocks are dirt cheap? Most seem reasonably priced to me, so can someone point me in the direction of where the bargains are?

its a banking crisis thats seems to be signaling no more casualties..(early yet)barc....bof i .....soc gen...rbs... bankia etc
so my monies on bank stock recovery firstly.
secondly .......any previously stronge stock that will recover once treat of bankruptcy removed and signs of growth return.....

RECOVERY PLAYS....never been cheaper.....select a few and upside is massive for the survivors within 2yrs

no point in trying to pick a surething here because without a recovery there all a complete bag of s**t....

investors call it gambling i call it speculation....There`s onething for sure there will be winners..

If you wait for their charts to improve you will miss out!!

I don't deal in individual stocks. I'm referring to various Country /Euro wide indexes. A lot of tem are v v cheap, theres a hell of lot of pessemism already discounted into the price. If you believe this Euro issue can be solved eventually without the world going falling apart you'll do v well. I f you see the world falling apart, then who the hell knows?
