I am born and raised Chicago Blackhawks fan, so please understand where I am coming from when I say this. I hate the Detroit Red Wings with an absolute passion. Always have, and I always will. Nik Lidstom is the Single Best Player of this MILLENNIUM (so far). I had this argument many times at the end of the decade (when I made the argument that he was the best player of the decade) and I will stand behind it to the day I die.
