Just wondering if anyone knows the club with the most Hurling All-Stars. I assume it's a club like Ballyhale, Thurles or James Stephens.

I know the Galway club with most All-Stars is Mullagh (11).

Anyone know the answer to this or maybe a table of the top winners?

I would think the Kilkenny clubs have beaten all the records over the last 6 years.

St. Finbarr's in Cork would have 16 hurling all stars from what I can calculate :

    Jimmy Barry Murphy (5)
    ger cunningham (4)
    Charlie McCarthy (3)
    Gerald McCarthy (1)
    Ronan Curran (3)

Ballyhale, from what I can work out:

    Ger Fennelly 1
    Liam Fennelly 4
    Shefflin 10
    Cha Fitzpatrick 3
    Michael Fennelly 2

That's 20, but they possibly have more though can't think of any.

James Stephens have a load as well,

    Fan Larkin 4
    Chunky O'Brien 4
    Brian Cody 2
    Joe Hennessey 5
    Brian McEvoy 1
    Peter Barry 3
    Philly Larkin 1
    Jackie Tyrrell 4
    Eoin Larkin 2

26 in total from what I can see.

St. Finnbarrs have 20 hurling and 8 football all stars probably the best dual star club==
Only club to win both all ireland club titles.
Played in both finals in the one year-1981, winning the football and losing the hurling.

    Hurling All Stars:
    JBM 5
    Ger Cunningham 4
    Ronan Curran 3
    Charlie MacCarthy 3
    Con Roche 2
    Tony Maher 2
    Ger McCarthy 1

    Football All Stars:
    JBM 2
    John Kearns 2
    Dave Barry 1
    Michael Slocum 1
    Michael Shields 2

    Ballyhale Shamrocks All- Stars (20)

    Henry Shefflin - 2000, 2002, 2003, 2004,2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2011
    James 'Cha' Fitzpatrick - 2006, 2007, 2008
    Liam Fennelly - 1983, 1985, 1987, 1992
    Ger Fennelly - 1983
    Michael Fennelly - 2010, 2011

What an achievement for such a small, rural parish!
Edit: didn't see Adrian522 above, ' Village have more, didn't realise that

Aye, saw title now. In Galway circles though, I'd say Tuam have the most in football.

Not really. Ja Fallon got a couple and John Tobin back in the day but that's about it. No Galway football club has more than a few. Mountbellew have 4, Val Faly X2 and Johnny Hughes X2, think that might be the most. Corofin surprisingly only have a couple.

No, Tuam also had 2 at least on the very first All Star team way back when. Not sure did Pat O Neill ever get one also. Somehow typical of Ajax-Corofin that they produce a lot of good standard footballers but few great ones, maybe Jimmy Duggan is the best one they've given to Galway.
