    All official forbidden fruit after partys 2012 are in the button factory, Curved street, Temple Bar Dublin 2.

    Befor I start talking about afterparty I think i should start with there fantastic opening party.

    Friday:

    To kick off the Forbidden Fruit June bank holiday weekend we've got the brilliantly eccentric PLANNINGTOROCK performing a vocal/dj set in The Button Factory on Friday June 1st.Her album W, released last year showed all sides of her brilliant talent - from the dark and twisted single "Doorway", to the disco hit "Living It Up" - and was one of the most forward-thinking albums of the year. Support on the night comes from TIERANNIESAUR, and a dj set Irish/Australian/Berlin-based KOOL THING. To top things off, entry is only €5 and we're giving away FREE pints of Bulmers!

    This Saturday night, Banquet will be throwing one massive last bash to celebrate its residency in Tripod and Button Factory as one of Dublin's biggest Saturday night club nights
    We've had some fairly mad nights in both Tripod & The Button Factory, and we've even been on the road at festivals like Forbidden Fruit and Electric Picnic! This Saturday we're having a celebration, and we've invited If you've made it along to Banquet at any stage over the last year, then buzz down to the Button Factory on Saturday to celebrate Banquet,Hopefully we'll see you then.

    For those of you who don't know - Banquet is a feast of tunes every Saturday in the Button Factory.
    We're a no-holds-barred indie disco serving you up anything from Azealia Banks to Arctic Monkeys, Calvin Harris to The Cure.
    Our music policy ranges from classic & current indie anthems to quality dance, with some old-school hip-hop & remixes throw in too!

    Modeselektor:
    Wildly diverse, infused with exuberance and inspired by a slap of the absurd, Modeselektor's inarguable grooves seem to emanate from every conceivable musical genre, creating a controlled chaos whose sonic expression elevates the eyebrows and heartbeats of critics and dance floors around the world.

    The Rapture:
    The Rapture is an Indie rock band based in New York City. The band mixes influences from many genres including post-punk, acid house, disco, electronica and rock, pioneering the post-punk revival genre. They were forerunners of the post-punk revival of the early 2000s, as they mixed their early post-punk sound with electronic and dance elements.

    Austra:
    Named for the Latvian goddess of light, Toronto’s Austra feature singer/keyboardist Katie Stelmanis, drummer Maya Postepski, and bassist Dorian Wolf. Stelmanis is a classically trained vocalist and pianist who joined the Canadian Children’s Opera at age ten and intended on pursuing a career in classical music before falling in love with punk, industrial, and electronic music. In 2008 she released the solo album Join Us, and was also a member of the band Galaxy with Postepski.

    Im sure you do love the venue, its literally the only thing you post about. No chance you might maybe work for them?? Think they call that shilling.

    Also you may want to inform the festival organisers that its the only venue for official after parties - they seem to be under the impression that there are 5 other venues as well
