Eircom broadband problem

We have had eircom broadband for years, however its after getting extremely slow. I rang them up and they said the line was limited to 1.5Mb and there was nothing they could do. We are in rural cork so mobile broadband is out as is UPC as they don't service our area. I was hoping someone could tell me our options for…
