im looking for a good quality textured brown leather strap (20mm width), with a deployment clasp.

Ive found crown and buckle (online) do a decent strap but without a deployment clasp.

    My questions are:

    1. who does decent leather straps that are not too expensive (<50 quid)?
    2. Can you recommend a good deployment clasp for leather straps? there are so many out there?
3 is there anywhere in dublin i can get this? it would be nice to feel the item before i buy it. im still happy to buy from online though.

    Thanks!

There's a sticky thread for watch resources at the top of the forum that includes a list of online sources for straps.

WatchWorx (or The Strap Shop) do a good range of reasonably priced leather straps and have deployant clasps as well.

I doubt you'll get anything like this in shop in Dublin - maybe a branded strap and clasp like Hirsch, but that would be well north of your €50.

Wherever you get your clasp from you want a double folding "butterfly" type deployant. The single folding type for leather straps can be quite uncomfortable unless you get the strap fitted the wrong way round.

    some choice here:

make sure to look at the pics in detail as not all clasps are the same ...some good, some not so much

or you could just buy the clasp and fit it to a different band (provided the hardware comes off that one easily)
