Firstly we need to go through the basics. In the new house do you have a dish up? Are you 100% sure the cable you have connected to, is the same cable as the dish.

Have you gone into the menu for signal strength and checked what is shown there?

The dish on the house, how old, rusty is it?

What is the exact make/model of the box. Is it a "+" box?

have you tried the two sky boxes ? or just the hd box?

when you say the freeview box is working what make and model number is it.?

(should be freesat as freeview is terrestrial)

I presume you are plugging it into the same cables you had in the Sky hd box,

Sounds like the dish may be pointed at 19.2E or 13E. Were the previous tenants from Eastern Europe by any chance? If so you'll need to get the dish realigned to point to the right satellite at 28.2E instead.

Guys this is the wrong Forum to be discussing Sky or Satellite systems. Could a MOD move this thread to the Satellite forums.
