The sun has gone and the good old Celtic rain has come to wash our streets clean again. BACK! Back ye get wimminz of Ireland. Back into your thick jumpers, baggy jeans and long coats. Brazen hussies. Temptresses of the flesh. Maybe now that you've stopped skipping and bouncing and jiggling around the place I can finally get rid of this bloody horn.
I see now why the lads in those hot countries are in favour of burqas and Sharia law, you'd never get anything done otherwise.

I'm sitting in work with wet boxers after cycling to work.
Your joy at this rain is not helping!

Me too. In my area they cut the water if there's snow, ice, or sun. They only seem to be able to cope if it's fúcking raining.

Incidently I'm not a sun fan, gives me headaches and drains me of energy.

    Enjoy that holiday.

Regrettably I am, Mornings, evenings an weekends. Monday to friday, 9 to 5 I work in a "city." But despite what you appear to be insinuating with your post I actually enjoy the sun when i'm farming. It's the rest of the time when it hate it. When Im stuck in a sweltering office swimming in sweat. or when Im out on the street in the relentless bloody heat surrounded by happy half naked fuckers skipping about in their underwear while i feel the need to hide my shameful gut under at least two layers regardless of the weather.
I also have this thing about flip flops. Words cant convey the hate I feel for them or the morons who wear them.

The sun'll come out tomorrow, bet your bottom dollar that tomorrow, there'll be sun......

I doubt if I was sad because of the rain your boxers would dry any quicker. I cant believe a little rain made you piss yourself

Just not on Sunday for a few hours, Bavaria city racing. It can do what it likes after that.

The sun is out every day. We, however, have the EU's cloud surplus.

Been walking around in my boxers myself for the past few days. Cheaper, and blends in well with the ladies in pyjamas. I just stick to Henry St and O'Connell St, i wouldn't blend in as well on the other side of town.

Can't help but smirk a little bit. For the last week i've had to endure the sight of lads walking around in them flowerey shorts and flip flops while i have to wear a shirt and tie goin to work.

Ya had your fun, now its business as usual :D

Meh, I spend all day underground and away from windows.

For all I know it could be apocalyptic out there and won't realise until I leave the building and see charred corpses everywhere and a mushroom cloud in the distance.

That, and it'll stop all those goddamn cats from gathering out the back of my house.

Anyway delighted to have a bit of rain, everyone was running short of small talk, now we can keep it going for ages with wishing that it was sunny and talking about holidays.

Thank God. I've done no work at all since the sun came out, and there are deadlines flying past at a rate of knots.

The chaps over in Motorsport might have an idea, there's a thread over there for it :)

I am happy about the rain, happy happy! I really don't like when it is very sunny, I am even grumpier, sweaty and tired. It also pisses me off that everyone is so pleased about it and they chastise me for not feeling the same.

I was disappointed when I heard the rain this morning but I can't handle the heat either. So hopefully it's cooled down a bit with it,because rain and warmth is worse :( though the lack of sunshine will be a welcome break for my pale skin
