Hey, I just drove my car for first time today and when I stopped I just sat in it for about 10 minutes thinking on car park, and just moved wheel a bit, and it locked and doesn't move/wobble freely while parked, so I was just wondering what is that? Like a safety feature or just comfort thing to lock wheels or something? Literally I hear a *click* sound and wheel is 100% perfectly straight not moving. It's Opel Corsa C 2001 btw.

Why? You can't learn without making mistakes or asking questions. It's quite possible the OP is only new to driving.

Many people don't bother, but i'd highly recommend sitting down and reading the handbook cover to cover. Particularly when you're new to driving it's good to know exactly what does what, what each of the warning lights means, etc etc.
