When throwing my T shirt in the washbasket after the gym today I got a smell of ammonia off it.
Anybody know what the cause normally is? I thought I read somewhere it was caused by ketosis but I had a 1/4 of a shaker of glucose in my shake at the gym.
Even aside from that Im eating a fairly large amount of carbs daily between breakfast bagels, oats in shakes plus good sized lunches and dinners

Yea I get this after every workout, thought my cat was pissing in my gym bag it was so bad. It's a byproduct when your body turns amino acids into energy, it's a sign that you have run out of sugars. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, it's when fat burning starts but at the same time using protein from either food or your muscles isn't a good idea so it's a fine line...

thats what I was thinking it might be- thought 1/4 of a shaker of glucose wouldve been sufficient carbs on top of glycogen. Surprising. Ah well!!
