I assume you place the bios update file on a CD and open the flash updater program in the bios,

you have to boot from the cd.

go into your bois and set the cd drive as first boot open the cd drive and put in the cd and shut you system down and then restart. it will boot from the cd and start the flashing process.

I got it sorted in the end and i have to say sapphire mainboards are horrible to flash . One of my mates found a piece of software that makes an iso of the bios and it was very easy to use .

Glad you got it sorted. Seems odd the manufacturer would choose to offer a bios without a option to create a bootable disc for it, as naturally just burning the bios files to CD won't be picked up booting off CD without boot code

Yeah i have to say it was annoying but at least i found something to make my bios updates easier form now on :D:D . It did come with a .bat file but i would say the instructions on how to use where fairly bad .
