Im presently getting prices for windows throughout two houses. After getting quotes for both I enquired about a discount as I was getting the two houses done. Quote was €13,000 and at first he offered €80 off and then €180 when I pushed but that's his limit. It seems like a pretty bad discount to me but maybe I'm wrong. He also missed a few windows on his quote and got openings wrong something that also puts me off. Has anyone else had similar dealings with them? Should I get someone else from Munster to quote? They all work independently don't they?

Hi, we are in the process of building our home and have heard mixed reviews from people. A friend recently had all her windows and three doors replaced by MJ and was offered a €100 discount which I thought was pretty poor... Additionally, I've heard that the quality and after-sales-service aren't great... Although their quote was the cheapest for our build we are going with a local family-run business who were slightly more expensive but have a great reputation.. My advice is get plenty of quotes. The difference between our top quote and the lowest for our one of house was almost €6K!! Best of luck

Dealing with Munster as well and he told me from the start that he would be giving his best price from the off with a slight bit of negotiation room once measurements are in. Though your reduction is low I'm sure it compares favourably to other companies as does my quote. No affiliation btw!
