Did a few of those places last year,

    Krakow:
Salt mines and Auschwitz tours are pretty interesting if your into that kind of thing!

    Budapest:
Go to the baths while your there, its a really good day out. Sightseeing, there is the presidential palace, heroes square, the citadel. Try some hungarian food, goulash etc! Just watch your stuff around the train station and that, some dodgy people hanging around some parts of the city but generally its ok! I stayed in suite hostel when i was there, run by a really cool american guy, ended up staying way longer than i planned!!

    Lake Bled:
Probably my favourite place i visited last year. Any kind of outdoor activity you could want to do, and its a beautiful place. Go cycling, hiking, swim in the lake, boat trip to the church on the lake, visit Bled Castle, the vintgar gorge! Bled is such a nice place to just chill out and relax!

Other than that just wander around and see what you find, thats what i normally do. You'll find local restaurants with good food, bars, markets etc..

Have a good trip, would love to be going back!!

    Hey
I hope to go interailing for 6 weeks for the coming Summer, but I have no idea where to start my research. I do have a list of the countries, I would like to visit. What websites would you recommend to book and plan the trip.
Any help will be brillant :)

Think about equipping yourself with one of these . It's a low tech solution to navigating around Europe. If you're flexible about where and when you want to go, it's great - it makes it easy to be spontaneous. E.G. When travelling from Switzerland to Austria, we discovered from the timetable that we could take a night train up to Berlin, hang around there for the day, and get a night train down to Innsbruck. Two nights accommodation saved!
