OK - Well from opposite Griffith College the 122 will bring you to Westmoreland Street, and the 68 and 68a will drop you beside Pearse Street Garda Station.

These routes also stop on the SCR east of Leonards Corner where the 9 and 16 will also bring you to Westmoreland Street, while from Clanbrassil Street the 49 and 54a will take you to Pearse Street Garda Station.

The stop on the SCR at the National Irish Bank (stop 1348) has the most frequent number of routes (9, 16, 68/a and 122).

Journey time to Westmoreland Street/Pearse Street Garda station will be about 15 minutes. From there it's a 10 minute walk along Pearse Street.

used to be in griffith one day a week, tbh you'd almost be quicker walking that route, it was certainly the easiest & quickest way for me to do Leeson st across

If you are light of foot, you'd walk it in about 35-40 minutes. That was my working commute for about 2 years and it's a nice walk through a nice part of Dublin. Just walk down the SCR to Merrion Square and South Cumberland Street is beside the Gingerbread pub on Fenian Street; it's about the most direct and easy to follow route.

    Bike?

Another alternative in route 49 from Clanbrassil Street, not great at peak, but excellent travel time off-peak. It's a pity about the poor frequency. The most important thing for you is RTPI.
