High-Waist Bikini

Hi guys,

Just wondering if anyone could help me. I'm looking for a high-waist bikini this year and so far haven't seen too many in the shops.

but I'd like to get one in a shop if possible so I can try it on as I'm quite big on top!

Has anyone seen them anywhere?

This is very weird, I was literally just writing this post for myself!

I too have been searching for a high waisted bikini in all the usual places: Debenhams, H&M, River Island, New Look, Next etc. But no luck. In fact I find it quite hard to find many on the internet itself.

Honestly, I don't think we will be able to find one in town (any town, Cork, Dublin etc.) as the shops simply aren't selling them! If someone could prove me wrong that would be amazing! Because I really really want a high waisted bikini.

With asos you can buy from the mix and match range by asos. So maybe a bra style top and a high waisted bikini bottom? Like this maybe? You could even just buy the top half in a black in any store, just buying the bottom off asos.

Scraggs, I agree with you there. You probably would end up looking a bit mad alright! I don't tan really, and wear a high protection factor but it still is a big risk.

I think the main problem with it is that I haven't found a single picture of a model wearing it. So I can't gauge how good (or slutty) it will look! Plus, the holes might be unflattering on the hips, and I have large enough hips (I am slim though).

Xpose (tonights one) had a feature on figure flattering bikinis and one-pieces, they were from simplybe.ie and the bikinis were high-waisted with nice patterns. Will be getting me some. To throw in my swimwear bag that's never seen the light...

The Top Shop one? - don't do it, please!
