i have been given a diet for a cut - 14day meal plan.

Its basically a handful of carbs some brocolli and chicken or steak or fish every 3 hours

Snacks are rice cakes and nuts

But if you feel really hungry and munch 4 or 5 rice cakes and nuts is that not just defeating the purpose ?

Should you feel like **** on it ? is it a case of no pain no gain ?

Also how many bcaa pills or grams would ya advise a day ?

Is training on just a protein shake and some bcaa in the early AM a good method for burning fat ?

I train in the morning on just a protein shake and a multivitamin and I'm about the least cut person you'll ever see, so I'd venture to say no, not in and of itself.

There is something that distance runners and cyclists call 'bonk training' where you do steady state cardio when starved. It is supposed to result in your body burning fat after you hit the wall, but you have to be doing something like 60-90 minutes of it to reach that point. I wouldn't say it's any more enjoyable than just sticking to your diet.

I do this bonk training 5 days a week for an hour at a time. I personally don't find this hard going at all, probably harder if I actually had food in my belly.
Didn't know there was a term for it.

The guy who gave it to me just said the carbs at each meal should be a handful , so no exact kcals

    I weigh 82 now - 10%bf - currently on about 2500 a day cals now , but can hit 3000 on good days !
