    Hello.... I live in the midlands and really need to start meeting new people.. I 'm a lone parent and just finished my degree in college....in the past few years I have put everything into raring my child and doing the best that I can in college.. Now i'm finished college i would love to start heading out at the weekend to socialize more. I'm in my early 20's. When i did go out I use to go out with a really good friend and now he's started going out with sum1 (he's gay) I have been dumped!!! I just find it really hard to meet people especially girls.. there is no clubs organised around where I am and I am terrible at sports....any suggestions welcome!

    The Ladies Lounge doesn't exist to tell you where to meet women, OP.

    Try the relevant regional forum or Personal Issues for suggestions on activities in your area.
