    preview

Dermot O'Leary presents the big game in aid of Unicef, which sees footballing heroes team up with celebrities for an England v Rest of the World match live from Old Trafford (Kick-off 8.00pm).

Robbie Williams captains the England team, managed by Harry Redknapp (expect some jokes here and maybe a cheeky chant) , and featuring former professionals David Seaman, Teddy Sheringham and Martin Keown, plus stars Jason Isaacs, Mark Owen, Marvin Humes, Aston Merrygold, Olly Murs, John Bishop, Jonathan Wilkes, Ben Shephard, Jamie Theakston and Paddy McGuinness.

Kenny Dalglish manages the opposing team (still in work then!), who will be looking for another win following the tense penalty shoot-out that ended in their victory two years ago. This time they call upon the talents of Hernan Crespo, Edwin van der Sar, Roy Keane, Ruud van Nistelrooy and Jaap Stam, lining up with captain Michael Sheen, Will Ferrell , Gerard Butler, Mike Myers, James McAvoy, Sergio Pizzorno, Patrick Kielty and Gordon Ramsay.

Kirsty Gallacher is pitchside (should be in shorts :( ). Subsequent programmes subject to change

I love watching these. Though the celebs usually get a trouncing and one of the celebs from so solid crew doing a Nani of not passing and shooting from everywhere.

As if there was any doubt to the theory that I will watch anything that Will Ferrell is in, it has been proven yet again as I will definitely be watching this.

Worth it just for the possibility of this

Hope nobody in the ROW dressing room brings up the Kenny/Keane conversation from 1993 ;)

Did he just take a throw instead of a corner :)

Damien Lewis (Homeland & Band of brothers) played in one of these a few years ago and he was quality

Ruud isn't playing I don't think. He said on Twitter a few days ago that he had to pull out for personal reasons.

    Is Collina reffing again?

Kirsty overdressed again this year! :(

It's Big Sam, not Redknapp I don't think. Good cause, could be entertaining. Might just watch to see how sharp the old United boys are, it'd be nice to see Edwin, Jaap, Ruud and Roy back on the Old Trafford pitch.

They should have gotten all the In a league of their own regulars to play in it. A midfield of Redknapp, Corden, Flintoff and Bishop would be formidable and possibly the only way to counter Keane.:)

Did I just see Ed Norton?

Prediction - Roy Keane will take this game very seriously and destroy someone with a tackle :pac: I can just see him hopping off Olly Murs now :pac:

    England 10/11
    Draw 7/2
    ROW 13/8

    - How are ROW 13/8? Their legends are of a far superior standard to those of England

Twas gas when Will Ferrell said when he first met Keane he gave him a big hug, lifted him off the ground and gave him a kiss on the cheek. He then told Dermot O Leary "I didnt know you were'nt suppose to do that".:D

lol, the face on Roy Keane!

That was so funny. He looks deadly serious! Someone's getting their leg broke tonight!

EDIT: Also I think it's funny that we're so desperate for soccer in the break that we're watching this...

If this is the best of Kenny's team talks I can see how things didn't go so well for Liverpool this season....

Ed Norton reminds me of Danny dyers character in mean machine. Can't kick a ball but might just pop up an score the winner :)

Jesus Roy its only a charity game,no need for the game face :D

I wonder of John Terry is there ready to put on the shirt of the winners to lift the trophy at the end

Longer build up for this on ITV than for the Champions League final
