Hi... have not moved over to cycling shoes yet as I have not reached the confidence yet,,, but am planning on doing so when I am more experienced.

I am subscribed to Sports Dirrect for their offers and they have 2 x offers in my size as attached

    http://www.sportsdirect.com/muddyfox-rbs300-mens-cycling-shoes-149022

    Questions:

    1. Can I easily buy Pedals locally to suit these shoes???
    2. What is differance between "Compatible with SPD-SL cleats" and "Compatible with Look cleats"
    3. What do people think of the 'runner' style shoe....
    4. Would sizes be more or less as per my normal shoe size?
    5. How much would pedals be ???

I think the price is good and would suit to invest now

    Your thoughts

I'm also looking at the very same thing, and availing of the free delivery and 10% discount (via facebbok) for sports direct this weekend :-)

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Shimano-Pdm324-Single-Sided-Spd/dp/B000NORMU4/ref=pd_sim_sh_2

Would these pedals work with these shoes? I am looking for double sided pedals to put on my bike (a mountain bike but I use it on the road two with different tyres) That the best value for double sided pedals?

Have bought a lot of stuff from sportsdirect and very happy but don't like the look of the cycling stuff.. looks really cheap.
Don't ever trust their Ref: £89.99 sh1te either.

If you're new to the SPD's I'd look into mountain bike shoes with SPD pedals (Shimano M520 are about €30 and absolute bargain as they come with all the cleats and fittings)

Look for some decent brand shoes on one of the online discount shops. (CRC, Evans etc).

Unless you're only doing very low milage, don't get cheap shoes.. they'll wreck your head.
