    Hey

I bought a headlight for a 2001 saxo and tried to change it myself, I changed a headlight just the other day in a C5 and it was fairly straight forward with no problems.

The problem im having with the saxo is the rubber cover, Ill include a photo here but it seems the rubber is attatched to the bulb or something and its impossible to remove(From what I can see anyway!).

The heat from the bulb has 'glued' that rubber boot to the bulb.
Reinsert the bulb and get a thin screwdriver/small knitting or crochet needle (or similar) and work it between the bulb and the boot until it releases it's hold.
With luck, you'll get it off with little damage. At worse you'll tear the boot.
