Internal Hard Drive

    Brother recently built me a new PC....I'm putting in a new SATA internal hard drive tonight.....anything i need to worry / think about as haven't done this before....

    Absolutely nothing, no jumpers or anything on SATA drives, just plug and play. You should put the drive in the SATA1 port on the mobo (though tbh it shouldn't matter regardless).
    You'll only run in to trouble if you wan't to put a pre SP3 XP version of Windows or older, if you are you will need to slipstream SATA Chipset drivers for the drive to be recognised, post here if that is the case for help doing this

    Just another thing if your putting it in as an additional drive you will need to format it for windows to recognise it (you can do this via disk management)!
