    hi, ALL

For the ast 2days or so i'm getting no sound output from my pc.

I have downloaded and reinstalled numerous drives like realtek etc, registry files but nothing works.

On the sound tab it shows that mozilla acknowledges that audio or video file's playing but n the sound tap its static as theres no output coming out.

the loudspeakers work i've tested them but i don't know whats the issue.

my mother board is asrock alivenfg6

If there's no yellow symbol next to audio devices that would suggest both card and drivers are fine.

If you have Realtek, Try disconnecting and reconnecting the audio cable jacks from the back of the PC and the REaltek dialog box should appear with options and tests:

not trying to be smart but have you checked the volume isn't muted on the PC?
Happened to me years ago, checked drivers speakers etc only to discover it was muted
    Felt like a right twat

    Classic!

I bought a replacement little electric fan heater for my bedroom once because the old one wouldn't turn on. When I went to plug in the new one it turned out the old one had just been unplugged

System restore back a few day to when it was working; or just let windows manage the sound by disabling realtek in startup & services - msconfig.

Can you get a loan of a set of speakers from someone to rule out the speakers themselves or try your speakers in another device, even an ipod or something with a standard 2.5mm jack.

On the taskbar right click the little speaker symbol that should be sitting there.

    Select Playback Devices
Check which device is set to default.
If not the correct one then change it to that.

    Any joy?

Where was the sound cable inside the PC?
