Will this fail the NCT?

    Hi - please have a look at attached picture. Do you reckon the NCT testers will fail the car on this?

    as long as the lights above the dents are no affected, and work 100%, there will be no issue.

    That will be fine. They won't even glance at it most likely.

    Just ensure all your fluid levels are topped up to the correct amount, ensure all seatbelts work and are fastened in on the day. Take those hub caps off, make sure all bulbs work and so forth with all the basic checks you can do really.

    Sharp edges are the problem with bodywork damage. If the metal had been torn with rough edges, you could tape over it and that would still pass but the damage shown shouldnt need that.

    Was just wondering if this would really work. We have a cheap run around when has some damage above the wheel arch. Will just taping over it really work to get it through an NCT?

    just to follow up - car passed no prob, this didn't fail it
