Hi lads and lassies, Hoping someone can point me in the right direction,

Had my HMR left in to the local RFD for the last few months to get threaded for a mod, Hadnt used it in about 6 months previous to that either. While it was getting threaded I had the bolt removed and kept safe in the boot of the car.

Noticed when I got the rifle back and assembled it - that the bolt was extremely tight to open and close, So gave it a good spray of oil and opened and closed a few times to see if it would loosen out.

Headed out this eve to zero it in after putting the scope back on - it took a good bit more pressure to pull the trigger than normal and the pin wasnt striking the round.

Took apart the bolt and oiled up the striker spring but still no luck - I then removed the striker retaining screw and found there was pressure on the spring as it popped out when I loosened the retaining screw.

any advise welcome - or info on where replacement parts can be purchased.

    Thanks ,

    CB

check to make sure he didnt over tighten the stock screws when putting it back togeather. back them off a bit and rack the bolt untill it gets back to normal. then check to make sure the gun isnt moveing in the stock.
