    Honestly though OP, I dont think there was much you could do really outside of what you did (maybe it wasn't you at all), could have been a lot worse!!

    The car driver did everything how I would have done it except they should have helped the lorry driver. the lorry driver could have tried to accelerate out of the corner but given the size of the vehicle that would have made things much worse.

    First thing that I would have done is reverse at least 100 metres.

    Not a clue what is in the back of the tanker. Then when sure that the thing is not going to explode, at any moment, go help the other driver.

    True that. However whether any of us would have had the balls to keep the foot in & go for that gap is another question.
    Plus in the scooter vid it looks like both the scooter & car ran red lights - wtf do these people think is going to happen?
