Talking to a local builder, just wanted to get an idea of ballpark costs I should be looking at..

    Standard Turf shed,
    - 3 sides cladded left, right and back(front 4th side half cladding, half opened - 10ft opening)
    - No doors/windows required (just the opening)
    - 30ft wide x 12 ft deep x 12 ft high.
    - No floor or concrete base.
    - 7 upright poles set in concrete
    - Wooden cross members and cladding (as described) to cover 3.5 sides & roof.

I have seen some cladding at 1.60 per ft (not sure if VAT included).. Builder reckoned on 30 sheets (12 ft sheets) - So about 20 quid per sheet is 360 quid. This was on Donedeal in Wexford, not sure if this price is fairly standard.

No idea on upright pole costs, cross members, bolts etc etc.

Builder quoting 1 weeks work (if i help) for a cost of €600..

Any idea of total costs I should be looking at? Would €2K seems reasonable?

Well just in case anyone was building anything similar.. The costs etc might be useful as a starting point. :)

Total cost is €2700 (€2100 parts + €600 labour) for 30ft wide, 16ft deep and 12ft high (11ft high at back).

Managed to source some second hand (but perfect condition) cladding for €1.85 per foot (so about €1200 total) from a local company. There were slightly cheaper companies in Wexford (1.60 per foot) and Cork (1.60 + vat), but the transportation costs would have been excessive.

Sourcing ESB poles was proving extremely difficult. In the end, I managed to only find one company who could supply the poles (3 x 30ft poles) at a cost of €125 + vat per pole. Again transportation would have been an issue, so the same company who provided the cladding also had metal uprights and brackets they could make up for a cost of about €5-600.
Same company again, could also supply the cross member (6x3) wood braces for about €200 (taking the parts cost from them to €2000)..

€100 for cement and stones for the ground anchors (metal uprights are bolted down not embedded in cement).

So all in all €2700 for the job.. More than I originally thought, but I am happy enough that we sourced it cheaply enough when I did some investigation (original cladding price quoted locally was €2.35 per foot), and I also learnt that all the guys that someone knows who can get ESB poles.. probably can't nowadays :)

    Building should start this weekend.
